讲座题目：Aesthetic Values in Translation: A Revisit of the Two Chinese Versions of David Copperfield

Abstract: The analyses and discussions herein, regarding the Chinese translations of Charles Dickens’s David Copperfield by Zhang Guruo and Dong Qiusi, offer insights into the process of translating that produces aesthetic equivalence. Through an investigation of how Zhang succeeds in representing the source text’s aesthetic values in his target text, I argue that aesthetic values in literary texts need not be restricted either to linguistics or to aesthetics. Therefore, this talk will focus on the general implications of translation, so that the insights thus gained can be applied to the broader field of literary translation. 

讲座者简介： 
　　邵璐，西南财经大学教授、硕士生导师、四川省学术与技术带头人后备人选。香港浸会大学翻译学博士，香港理工大学翻译学博士后。《翻译季刊》（香港）副执行主编，《译苑新谭》编委、副主编。国际翻译与跨文化研究协会会员、中国翻译协会专家会员、中国英汉语比较研究会会员、香港翻译学会终身会员。出版专著《文学中的模糊语言与翻译》（2011，商务印书馆），发表论文50余篇、译作10多部（篇）。其中11篇文章刊于国际期刊（包括2篇SSCI、4篇A&HCI期刊）、17篇载于CSSCI期刊，26篇载于中国外语类核心刊物。主持教育部人文社会科学研究项目、四川省哲学社会科学规划项目等多项课题。曾获四川省“第十五次哲学社会科学优秀成果评奖优秀奖”、四川省教育厅科研成果二等奖、“天府翻译学术成果”特等奖等多项奖励。
